About Kimono Rental

Wa Collection Mito is a Kimono rental shop on the approach to Suizenji Jojuen Park, one of the most popular tourist spots in Kumamoto. We offer a wide variety of Kimono for women, men and children. You can get a lot of benefits such as an entrance ticket of Suizenji Jojuen Park and commemorative photo shooting in our studio. Tabi Japanese socks and Kinchaku Japanese pouch are also given as gifts after using.

You can also enjoy strolling around Kumamoto city such as Kumamoto Castle and downtown. Please return the items to us by 5:00pm.

Kimono / Yukata Plan for women

【Kimono Rental】 Oct 1 - May 31; 【Yukata Rental】 Jun 1 - Sep 30; Kimono Rental Plan includes Kimono, Obi sash, Nagajuban undergarment, Zori Japanese sandals, Tabi socks, Kinchaku pouch. You can take Tabi and Kinchaku back home as souvenirs. Yukata summer Kimono Plan includes Yukata, Obi sash, undergarment, Geta Japanese wooden sandals, KUMAMON Uchiwa paper fan, Kinchaku pouch. You can take Uchiwa and Kinchaku back home as souvenirs. Licensed staff help you get dressed in Kimono quickly and properly. We have over 150 Kimonos and Yukatas in various colors and designs. Both plans include Suizenji Jojuen Garden ticket and photo shooting service.

Commemorative photo shooting at our studio is included. You receive the photo as a gift when you leave.

We make sure that you look beautiful before you go out for sightseeing.

Suizenji Jojuen Park has a lot of photo spots. Enjoy strolling around the park.

We started Wagasa Japanese umbrella Rental Plan. Please return items by 5pm. You can enjoy Kumamoto Castle, too.

You can take Kinchaku Japanese pouch back home.

: 【Hair Accessory Rental】; We offer a wide variety of hair accessories such as hair ornaments, Kanzashi hair pins and hair pieces. You can put on as many accessories as you want. When staffs are free, we can help you with your hair set. (We don't use hair iron and hair spray.); ￥990

: 【Obijime / Obidome Rental】; If you want more authentic style, we recommend to use Obijime string and Obidome ornament with your Obi sash. You can choose your favorite combination. Basically, a combination of similar color to your Kimono is recommended. Please let us know before we start Kimono dressing.; ￥330

: 【Wagasa Rental】; In response to many requests from customers, we started Wagasa Japanese Umbrella Rental for using outside. Please choose from several types. Since it is made of paper, you can't rent it on a rainy day.; ￥1,100

【One night Rental】: On such occasions as night party and ﬁreworks festival, we offer overnight rental plan. One night Rental is ¥4,950.

Kimono Rental Plan includes Kimono, Obi sash, Juban undergarment, Geta Japanese wooden sandals, Tabi socks. You can take Tabi back home as souvenirs. Yukata summer Kimono Plan includes Yukata, Obi sash, Geta Japanese wooden sandals, KUMAMON Uchiwa paper fan. You can take Uchiwa back home as souvenirs. We have over 50 Kimonos and Yukatas.

Katsura wig and Katana sword are also available. You can take photos with your own camera.
